Criminology Lecturer
Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a full‑time social sciences lecturer, specialising in Criminology. This is a temporary role that has the potential to turn permanent for the right candidate. The role is full time, 35 hours per week, between 8:30 – 16:00. Payment will be £20‑£40 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
The college is based in Hull and has a strong reputation locally, with an excellent social sciences provision. You will be part of a strong team dedicated to ensuring students make progress and perform well.
Responsibilities
Teach Criminology to Key Stage 5 students, specifically BTEC Level 3. Having the ability to teach BTEC Level 3 applied law is also desirable.
Qualifications
* PGCE or similar teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Criminology to Key Stage 5 students
* Experience working within schools in the UK
* Enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Full CV history
* Legal right to work in the UK
