Are you an experienced Service Manager or Team Leader looking for an exciting leadership opportunity in Skipton? Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs?
We are recruiting a dedicated and motivated Service Manager / Team Leader to oversee a specialist supported living service in Skipton. This service supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs and mobility needs, helping individuals to live as independently as possible within a safe and person-centred environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities - Service Manager
Lead, motivate and develop a staff team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs in Skipton
Ensure the service meets all CQC standards and delivers safe, high-quality care
Supervise, mentor and support staff development, promoting strong leadership within the Team Leader structure
Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce development within the Skipton service
Oversee care planning, risk management and person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs
Build strong relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders
Support operational oversight including rota management, compliance and service performance
Work closely with senior leadership to continuously improve the supported living service in Skipton
About You
We are looking for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader with strong knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.
You will ideally have:
Experience as a Service Manager, Deputy Manager or Team Leader within a CQC-regulated service
Strong leadership and staff development skills
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC compliance and supported living best practice
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs
Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
Commitment to delivering outstanding support services in Skipton
