Snow White Laundries is a growing, multi-site laundry and linen hire business. Established in 1968, we now employ around 150 people, providing quality linen to the hospitality industry in Wales and England.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated engineer to join our team and assist in the smooth running and expansion of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
● To help maintain the plant and equipment to ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations
● To carry out engineering works on equipment on site as instructed by the Engineering Director. Repairing equipment in a safe and timely manner ensuring that Production is continuously updated on any progress.
● To work with the Engineering team to identify problems and provide solutions.
● To have a continuous improvement approach to equipment performance.
● To ensure the Company assets are maintained to achieve maximum efficiency
● To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with the Site Health and Safety policies
● To maintain excellent communication between all departments
Requirements:
● Skilled in both Electrical and Mechanical trades
● Electrical Qualifications
● Experience of PLC's
● Knowledge of engineering disciplines including pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems.
● Self-motivated
● Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team.
● Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
● Electronic fault finding to component level.
● High attention to detail.
● Maintenance skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Basic Salary dependant on experience, Plus bonus scheme(up to 12% of weekly earnings & monthly team KPI bonus), Plus OTE.
Schedule:
● Seasonal shift work to cope with demand.
● Rotating shifts: Monday - Saturday 4 on 3 off Rota - 10 hour Days, 5 continuous DAYS OFF every 3 weeks

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
