Associate Practitioner Product Delivery Team
We are seeking an Associate Practitioner or Assistant Practitioner to join our Continence Product Delivery Team with flexible locations across Kent.
Our team assesses and processes referrals for continence products, working closely with the home delivery contract product supplier and the Home Delivery Transport Team.
The role involves assessing, authorising, and processing product requests received from the Continence/Bladder & Bowel Service, Community Nursing Teams, Residential & Nursing Homes, and other professionals.
We are open to considering this position as a secondment opportunity, full-time or part-time, for the right candidate. Please note, we can only accept candidates with the Associate Practitioner qualification and the corresponding NMC registration or those who have completed the Assistant Practitioner course. Qualifications must be specific to Health and Social Care.
In this role, you will support the provision of high-quality bladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through re-assessment of products and processes for the product delivery service/Kent continence service. You will also support the development of educational initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for people with bladder and bowel dysfunction, including patients and their families or carers.
Additional working patterns include 0.8 FTE across two days, or other part-time/full-time splits. Secondments from community nursing are considered. Hours are typically across Monday to Friday, 0800-1700.
Rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC, we are committed to delivering high standards of patient care and excellent services to improve community health. We value equity, diversity, and inclusion, and welcome applications from diverse backgrounds.
We collect data on protected characteristics to ensure equitable access to opportunities and to support us in becoming a Great Place to Work. We promote flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance, and we encourage you to discuss flexible options with us.
