About the role:
As Office Services Manager, you will oversee the day‑to‑day delivery of workplace services across the firm (excluding Front of House). You’ll play a key strategic and operational role in ensuring the workplace runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while driving continuous improvement.
You will report into the Head of Front of House & Workplace Services and work closely with IT, Property and Facilities leadership.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Managing workplace functions: mailroom, reprographics, records, floor support
* Leading on health & safety compliance and emergency procedures
* Delivering the strategic vision for workplace services
* Ensuring exceptional service for internal stakeholders
* Overseeing property services coordination and supplier relationships
* Managing offsite transcription/document production contracts
* Supporting office moves, refurbishments, and change projects
* Leading, developing, and motivating a multi-skilled team
* Supporting budgets, benchmarking, and contract negotiations
Required skills:
* Proven experience in workplace, facilities, or operational management
* Background in legal environment
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing both in‑house teams & vendors
* Strong contract and supplier management expertise
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Robust understanding of health & safety (IOSH/NEBOSH required)
* Highly organised, proactive and solutions‑focused
Desirable:
* Experience with workplace technology tools
* Exposure to office moves or workplace transformation projects
* Professional qualifications (e.g., IWFM)
