About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Vehicle Technician to join our Fleet Services team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll carry out servicing and repairs on a range of vehicles, while ensuring health and safety standards are met across all workshop activities.
What you’ll be doing
* Deliver high‑quality maintenance and repairs on cars, light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles.
* Provide mobile service support and assist with workshop coordination when required.
* Complete mandatory inspections and calibrations for all workshop equipment.
* Carry out safety checks, toolbox talks and risk/COSHH assessments.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
* Exceed customer expectations through exceptional service.
What Success Looks Like
* Minimal vehicle downtime and high productivity.
* Accurate records for inspections and health & safety compliance.
* Positive customer feedback and zero complaints.
* Zero accidents and proactive near‑miss reporting.
Essential
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualification (or proven experience).
* HGV driving licence.
* Winter maintenance experience.
* Customer‑focused approach.
Desirable
* CPC holder.
* Specialist vehicle knowledge.
* Basic computer and diagnostic skills, plus strong health and safety awareness.
