Job Overview
Southern Water is seeking Apprentice Multi-skilled Technicians across our region: East Sussex, West Sussex, Hampshire & Kent. With dedicated mentors, apprentices will maintain, repair, modify, configure, commission, calibrate, and install plant instrumentation, control, and monitoring equipment. Responsibilities include system shutdowns, alarms, and telemetry management to ensure operational efficiency in water and wastewater functions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting technicians with daily operations, repairs, and installations to ensure continuous site and asset operation.
2. Completing planned maintenance and suggesting improvements.
3. Responding to instrumentation faults within SW parameters, guided by Dispatch.
4. Investigating and resolving instrument and process issues on water and wastewater plants.
Training Overview
The apprenticeship provides industry-specific training, work experience, and placements within relevant business units. Upon completion, you will be proficient as a Multi-skilled Technician and earn a Level 3 BTEC NVQ in Maintenance and Operations Engineering.

* GCSE Maths and English Grade 4/C or above
