We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Band 3 Senior Nursing Assistant to join our highly skilled and motivated team in providing excellent care, whilst caring for patients undergoing interventional procedures and recovering within the department.
Procedures
* VASCULAR
o Pelvic Vein, Uterine Fibroid, Varicocoele, Prostate Artery Embolisations
o Peripheral Vascular Angiograms, Angioplasties and Vascular Stenting
* NON-VASCULAR
o Percutaneous Biopsies and Drainages, etc.
o Nephrostomy Insertion/Removal and Ureteric Stenting
o Fluoroscopy‑guided Gastrostomy Tube Insertions
o Thyroid Ablations
o Sialography
o IVC filter insertion and removal

Compensation & Working Hours
Successful candidates will be appointed to the first pay step within the band when they start with the Trust (unless they have previous relevant NHS continuous service), thereafter individuals will progress up the pay steps in accordance with NHS Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions. For part‑time roles you will receive a pro‑rated salary payment based on the appropriate pay step/point and hours worked in accordance with AfC and all medical and dental terms and conditions.
