Busy Bees Reading Holme Park, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 56 children and offers a nurturing environment that supports early childhood development. We enhance learning experiences with visits from the local library, contributing to our storytime and song group activities. Conveniently located near a local bus route on the main road, our nursery is a 15‑minute walk from the town centres of Reading, Woodley and Twyford. We also provide free parking for staff to ensure easy access for families during drop‑offs and collections.

What To Expect As a Nursery Practitioner
* Create a safe, stimulating environment: prepare materials and arrange rooms to encourage children’s growth and learning.
* Lead educational activities: plan and deliver activities that support children’s physical, emotional, intellectual and social development, aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* Key person role: oversee children’s development and care needs, and build strong family connections.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years Education.
* Proven experience working with children under 5 and a genuine interest in early childhood education.
* Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to apply child development knowledge to plan and deliver activities.
* Previous experience as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse is desirable.
