About The Role
Please note that this is a full-time role working 35 hours per week - full flexibility is required.
In your role as an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our Residents are individuals with their own stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll have the opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As an Activities Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging activities for our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with fundraising events, and encouraging social interaction and hobbies among Residents. You will do all this with a sense of kindness and consideration.
We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programs. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, strong planning and organisational skills, IT proficiency, and effective time management are essential. You should communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All staff are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training, with the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.
