Workplace Description
Set in 2 acres of tranquil wooded gardens, this privately owned family-run hotel offers panoramic views of Borrowdale Valley. It serves traditional British cuisine and local Lakeland produce, including lamb, game, and fish. Guests can enjoy an extensive wine list and afternoon tea in the cosy lounge by the open fire.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Be passionate, able to work under pressure, enthusiastic, and professional.
* Work straight shifts when possible, with flexibility for splits.
* Be capable of running your own section.
* Willing to learn under the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef with a desire to progress.
* Be a team player with a bright personality.
* Maintain consistency and attention to detail, using fresh and local produce where possible.
Essential Criteria
Must have experience working in at least a 1 Rosette standard establishment and have been in the role of Chef de Partie for a minimum of 2 years. Pastry experience is advantageous.
Accommodation
Provided in Keswick; transportation is required to commute to and from the accommodation.
Charge for Accommodation: 180.00 GBP per month
