Job Title: Senior Care Assistant
Responsibilities:
* Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
* Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
* Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
* Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and compassion for the elderly population
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
