Digital Projects Manager (GP IT Projects)
Key Details
* Fixed Term – until 31st March 2028
* Full Time – 36 hours per week
* Band 6 – Salary £43,231 – £52,679 per annum
* Distant Island Allowance £2,578 per annum
* Relocation assistance up to £6,000
The role leads the roll‑out of modern IT solutions across multiple GP practices, supporting NHS Shetland’s Digital Strategy and Workplan and contributing to the national programme of digital change across Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Lead delivery and roll‑out of IT solutions across GP practices
* Work closely with clinical and operational teams to streamline workflows and enhance digital services
* Support the delivery of NHS Shetland’s Digital Strategy and Workplan
* Help deliver safer, more efficient patient care through digital initiatives
* Contribute to the national programme of digital change within General Practices across Scotland
* Comply with Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of starting the role
Qualifications
* Experience in a healthcare setting or proven project management experience
* Background in delivering digital transformation in the public sector
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to see and implement new ways of working
* Successfully pass Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or complete an update prior to offer
* Have right to work in the UK without sponsorship
