Essential qualifications and experience
* Qualified Teacher Status (or on track to obtain it by the end of the year)
* Experience teaching in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2
Knowledge and understanding
* Effective provision for the individual needs of children, including classroom organization and learning strategies
* Statutory National Curriculum requirements at the relevant key stage
* Monitoring, assessment, recording, and reporting of pupil progress
* Legislation concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEN, and Child Protection
* Effective teaching and learning strategies and positive links within the school community
Skills
* Promote the school’s aims and monitor motivation and morale effectively
* Build good personal relationships within a team
* Establish strong relationships with parents, governors, and the community
* Communicate effectively in writing and verbally to diverse audiences
* Create a positive, challenging, and effective learning environment
