Join our team at De Vere as a Finance Assistant and play a key role in managing the Central Finance function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier payments, invoices, and monthly reviews.
As a Finance Assistant, you will support the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Supervisor in managing the Central Finance function. This includes ensuring all suppliers are paid in line with company terms, processing invoices, managing queries, completing monthly reviews, and assisting with the audit process. You will be the key point of contact for internal teams and external suppliers, handling any financial queries and ensuring everything is completed accurately and on time.
This is a part-time role requiring 24 hours per week, with flexibility around the days and hours worked. The position is based on-site at our Harrogate Pyramid office and does not include weekend working. We’re open to discussing different working patterns to suit individual circumstances, such as shorter days across more weekdays or slightly longer hours over fewer days
To be successful as a Finance Assistant you will have;
* Previous experience in a finance or relevant role, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with accounting software (X3, Opera) is desirable but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with numbers.
* Excellent communication skills, able to interact with colleagues and suppliers professionally.
* A keen interest in the hospitality industry and delivering high standards of service.
