What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs, formulating and implementing care plans
- Provide advanced mental health input into multidisciplinary team meetings and offer specialist advice
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health interventions to adult patients
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals, external agencies, and patients' families to ensure cohesive care delivery
- Support junior staff through mentorship and supervision, fostering a learning environment
- Engage actively in service development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
- Current NMC Registration
- Experience in Liaison Psychiatry
- Proven experience with adult patients in Mental Health settings
