Full time hours on a temporarybasis
As a Regulatory Services Officer, you will deliver a wide range of regulatory and enforcement duties to ensure compliance with relevant legislation. You will carry out inspections, investigations and assessments, respond to service requests, and take appropriate action to resolve issues in line with statutory requirements and council policies.
You will engage with businesses, residents and other stakeholders, offering advice, supporting compliance, and taking enforcement action when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out inspections, assessments and investigations across relevant regulatory areas.
* Respond to complaints, service requests and enquiries, providing clear advice and guidance.
* Gather evidence, prepare reports and take enforcement action where required.
* Work closely with businesses, residents and partner agencies to improve compliance and resolve issues.
* Maintain accurate records, data and documentation to support decision making.
* Support projects, campaigns and initiatives aimed at improving community safety and regulatory standards.
* Ensure all work is delivered in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
