Nursery Practitioner
Location: Borehamwood
Salary: From £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualification
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery in Borehamwood for a qualified Nursery Practitioner. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and experienced early years professional who is committed to providing high quality care and education for young children.
This role is suitable for candidates holding a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Role Overview
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting childrens learning and development in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high quality care and education to children in line with EYFS requirements
Plan and deliver age appropriate activities that support childrens learning and development
Observe, assess and record childrens progress accurately
Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
Maintain a clean, safe and organised learning environment
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures consistently
Support childrens personal, social and emotional development
Requirements
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
A genuine passion for working with children
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
