Domestic Gas Engineer
Salary: £40,000–£42,000 per annum van and fuel card

We are working with a maintenance and property services company to recruit a Domestic Gas Engineer on a permanent basis (39 hours per week).
This is a permanent position offering a company van, fuel card, and excellent development opportunities.
This role would suit a Domestic Gas Engineer with strong servicing and repair knowledge, who takes pride in delivering high standards of health & safety and customer care within occupied properties.
The Role
As a Domestic Gas Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include:
1. Annual gas servicing
2. Maintenance repairs and fault-finding
3. Central heating upgrades
4. Boiler installations and replacements
5. Working in occupied domestic properties
6. Using a tablet-based system to receive and manage jobs
7. Ensuring all works are completed in line with current gas regulations and Health & Safety legislation
You will also have access to a wide range of development opportunities, including licensed asbestos removal training and further professional upskilling.
Requirements (Skills & Qualifications):
8. Full UK driving licence
9. Domestic Gas qualifications (Gas Safe registered)
10. OTEC registered (desirable but not essential)
11. Previous experience in servicing, repairs and boiler replacements
12. Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance standards
13. Excellent communication and customer service skills
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Engineers are provided with a company van and fuel card, so a full driving licence is essential.
