Due to continued success and increasing demand, we are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to drive business development across a portfolio of Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging solutions. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced sales professional or technically minded renewables specialist looking to join a highly respected organisation operating at the forefront of the clean energy transition. The Opportunity As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with both commercial and residential customers, converting a strong pipeline of inbound opportunities while identifying new business prospects across the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in educating customers on the benefits of renewable energy technologies, delivering tailored solutions, and supporting clients through the sales process from initial consultation through to project delivery. Package Basic Salary: £45,000 On Target Earnings: £70,000 - £80,000 Uncapped Commission Structure Company Electric Vehicle Comprehensive Benefits Package Monday - Friday Working Hours Key Responsibilities Develop and grow sales opportunities across Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging solutions. Manage and convert a healthy stream of inbound enquiries while generating additional business opportunities. Conduct customer consultations, site visits and needs assessments. Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations and solution recommendations. Build and maintain long-term relationships with commercial and residential customers. Attend industry events, networking opportunities and promotional activities to support business growth. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of renewable energy technologies, industry developments and market trends. Deliver a first-class customer experience throughout the sales journey. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in field sales, business development or account management. Experience within renewable energy, solar, electrical, engineering, construction or a related technical sector would be highly advantageous. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities. Confident presenting solutions to customers and key stakeholders. Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, organised and capable of managing a territory independently. Passionate about renewable energy and sustainable technologies. Full UK driving licence.
