The Senior Marketing Copywriter at Hargreaves Lansdown plays a pivotal role in shaping the voice and tone of the brand across all marketing channels. This role is responsible for leading a team of six Marketing Copywriters, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging, and compliant content that supports the company's strategic objectives. The Senior Marketing Copywriter collaborates closely with stakeholders across the business to develop compelling and innovative messaging that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement. You will strive to create best-in-industry messaging at all times and lead a culture of Marketing innovation.
What you'll be doing
* Leading and manage a team of six Marketing Copywriters, providing guidance, coaching, feedback, and professional development in the continual pursuit of market-leading and innovative Marketing copy.
* Overseeing the creation of marketing copy across various channels including digital, print, email, and social media.
* Ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborating with marketing, product, and compliance teams to develop and refine messaging strategies.
* Reviewing and edit copy to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
* Driving innovation in content creation and storytelling to enhance customer engagement.
* Managing workload and resource allocation within the copywriting team to meet project deadlines.
* Monitoring content performance and apply insights to improve future campaigns.

* Proven experience in a senior copywriting or content leadership role.
* Experience managing a team of writers or content creators.
* Background in financial services or a regulated industry is desirable.
* Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of marketing copy.
* Understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content strategy.
Interview Process
This will be a two stage interview with task.
Working Schedule
This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
