We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology/Chemistry Teacher to join our vibrant team located in the heart of Pudsey. This full-time position is available for an immediate start, running until Christmas, with the possibility of extension.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
2. Strong subject knowledge and a degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
3. Previous experience teaching Biology and Chemistry at the secondary level is advantageous.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
6. Enhanced DBS clearance on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
Responsibilities:
7. Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons in Biology and Chemistry to secondary students.
8. Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
9. Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their academic development.
10. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
11. Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
Salary: £130-211 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications).
