This role is ideal for a skilled Plumbing/Multitrade Engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working across multiple trades in a field-based environment.
Role Summary
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of plumbing and multi-trade maintenance tasks across commercial and residential sites. You will complete planned and reactive works to a high standard while supporting other departments within the wider engineering team.
This is a varied and hands-on role where every day is different — perfect for someone confident across plumbing, general building works, and minor construction/maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
* Work collaboratively with fellow engineers and wider departments
* Carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks including tap repairs, TMV maintenance, showers, ball valves, gate valves, stopcocks and more
* Perform day-to-day multi-trade works such as fixture/fitting repairs, loft boarding, ceiling and carpet tile replacement, plasterboarding walls and ceilings, and general building maintenance
* Conduct heating and hot water system maintenance including 2-port & 3-port valves, mixing valves, pumps, radiators, TRVs, cylinders and CWS/HWS systems
* Maintain and replace shower valves as required
* Install or replace hot and cold pipework up to 54mm, address leaks, drain down and refill systems
* Carry out routine PPM, emergency works and general repairs across multiple sites
* Deliver excellent service to customers and communicate clearly with internal teams
* Use PDA/CRM systems to record work, updates and reports accurately
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumbing & Multi-Trade Engineer (minimum 2 years)
* NVQ Level 2–3 in Plumbing & Heating (essential)
* G3 Unvented/vented cylinders qualification (desirable)
* Experience working on water hygiene-related plumbing tasks (highly desirable)
* Ability to make recommendations based on service findings
* Competent using PDAs, compliance systems and basic computer applications
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude and ability to work independently
* High-quality personal hand tools
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Clean DBS check
