About the Role:

As Ruminant Sales Manager, you’ll step into a pivotal position at the heart of the UK dairy industry, joining a professional, supportive, and ambitious team. Your proven sales expertise will be central to your success, from consistently achieving targets and driving business growth. You’ll draw on your strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to create trusted partnerships with farmers and the merchant feed sector. In this remote position, you’ll travel across the UK, gaining a deep understanding of client needs and transforming them into tailored nutritional solutions that optimise herd performance. If you are a proven sales professional, looking for a role that offers a rewarding blend of challenges and personal growth, this could be the perfect next step in your career!



Responsibilities:



* To drive sales and promotion of the company’s product portfolio to merchants and farmers across the UK
* To cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and clients
* To provide nutritional advice and product support to meet customer needs
* To actively identify and develop new leads, promoting and consistently growing and developing the business
* To participate in wider business requirements, attending shows and events to increase brand awareness


Qualifications:



* Proven experience in a sales role within the agricultural sector
* A good knowledge and understanding of livestock production systems (preferably dairy)


Required Skills:



* Exceptional communication and customer service skills
* The ability to forge and develop relationships easily and confidently
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
* The ability to work independently and collectively as a team when required
* Self-motivated and able to organise own workload
* The ability to work collaboratively across the team
* The willingness and desire to travel extensively across the UK
* UK driving licence



Pay range and compensation package:



An excellent salary, bonus and benefits package (including company car or allowance) commensurate with the candidate's experience.
