About The Role
We are currently recruiting a Behaviour Support Worker (BSW) to work with children with various SEN, including SEMH, ASD, and ADHD. The role involves assisting children with their behaviour and helping them develop life skills. It includes outdoor activities and is not strictly classroom-based. Many of the children requiring support are in EYFS and KS1.
About You
No specific school-based experience is necessary; sports graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, and care workers are also encouraged to apply. We seek passionate individuals with a desire to support children with challenging behaviour, some of whom may have experienced early life trauma.
Contract/Position Details
* Location: Wythenshawe
* Position: Behaviour Support Worker (BSW)
* Start Date: September 2025
* Duration: Ongoing
* Full-time only
* Pay Rate: Minimum of £103.94 per day
Eligibility Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the update service, or willingness to apply for a new one
* Two professional references
