SITE SUPERVISOR
Our client requires the services of a Works Site Supervisor for the construction phase of the A320 HIF project

Works Site Supervisor for the A320 HIF Project
Specific brief
The Site Supervisor will be required to undertake the following:
· The role of Site Supervisor as defined under the NEC Contract
· The A320 is an NEC Option B contract and so will need to be conversant/have significant experience with this form of contract
· Have significant experience in the delivery/construction of highways infrastructure projects
· Preferably have worked on Local highway Authority projects
· The day-to-day supervision of the contract, liaising with the Contractor, Design Consultants and wider delivery team.
· Inspections of the works for compliance with the Contract.
· Testing of materials and supplied products (where required).
· Dealing with variations and compensation events (in consultation with the PM/QS)
· Inspecting the contractors progress against contract scope and programme
· Dealing with non-conformances and defects
· Dealing with safety
· Attendance at CTMP, CEMP and WTMM
· Assisting the PM and QS in monthly valuations
· CSCS card holder (e.g. gold supervisor card)
· NRSWA qualified
· Base location will be the construction site north of Woking and so attendance will be required 5 days a week and some weekends
· Exhibit professional behaviours and effective communication with the appointed contractors' staff, calm and measured approach.
· Able to professionally manage interrelationships with the contractor where there are differences of opinion for example on defects raised.
