Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and energetic SEN PE Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Basingstoke. This is a full-time role, with the opportunity to teach one day of Maths each week depending on timetable needs.
This role is ideal for a teacher with a genuine commitment to supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, autism, and speech and language needs. You will play a key role in promoting physical education, wellbeing, confidence, and holistic development.
The Role:
* Deliver engaging and accessible PE lessons tailored to a diverse range of SEN learners
* Potential to teach one day of Maths each week
* Develop personalised learning plans and differentiated resources
* Foster a positive learning environment that supports emotional and behavioural needs
* Work collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team
* Contribute to whole-school activities, enrichment, and physical development programmes
Requirements:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Previous experience working in SEN settings is highly desirable
* Strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach
* Ability to inspire and motivate learners with varied needs
* Enthusiasm for promoting health, fitness, and inclusive physical education
