🗓️ Shifts: Monday–Thursday 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm, Friday 6am–1pm / 1pm–9pm (Shifts are rotated weekly.)
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable and safety-focused Production Operator / FLT Driver to join our dynamic team at DS Smith’s Smethwick site. This is a key role within our Packaging division, where you’ll help ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do
1. Operate FLT equipment safely to move materials across the site
2. Follow all health & safety procedures and safe systems of work (SSOW)
3. Report hazards or unsafe behaviours to maintain a safe working environment
4. Support production targets by ensuring timely and accurate material handling
5. Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks
6. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
