This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness.
You will be involved in the day-to-day preparation and service of food and beverages for students, staff, and visitors across campus dining facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of food and beverages
* Serving food and drinks in a friendly and professional manner
* Operating tills and handling cash or card payments where required
* Ensuring all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are followed
* Clearing tables, washing up, and maintaining clean kitchen and service areas
* Stock rotation and basic replenishment of supplies
* Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
What We're Looking For
* Previous catering or customer service experience
* A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, or weekends
* A basic Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage

* This role is based on a university campus
* A DBS is required for this role (If you don't have one this may be provided)
