Job Overview:
A professional family based in Kings Cross, London, is seeking a highly qualified and experienced daily nanny to care for their baby, who will be 6 months old at the start of employment. This is a long-term role for a career nanny with recognised childcare qualifications (Norland, NNEB, or equivalent). The role requires an nanny who can support the child's development and education through the milestones as they grow, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and work in partnership with the parents.
Responsibilities:
* Provide attentive, nurturing care tailored to the needs of the child
* Plan and implement age-appropriate developmental activities
* Establish and maintain consistent routines for feeding, sleeping, and play
* Prepare and sterilise bottles, assist with weaning when appropriate
* Carry out all nursery duties, including laundry and tidying of nursery areas
* Ensure the child's safety and wellbeing at all times
* Liaise with parents on progress, milestones, and any concerns
* Provide occasional flexibility for the late evening cover
Ideal Nanny:
* Holds a recognised childcare qualification (e.g. Norland, NNEB, CACHE, NVQ3 or equivalent)
* Minimum 10 years' professional nanny experience with babies and infants
* Warm, reliable, and proactive with a genuine love of childcare
* Strong knowledge of early years development and best practice in baby and toddler care
* Confident English speaker with excellent communication skills
* Organised, flexible, and adaptable to the family's schedule
* Right to work in the UK; excellent checkable references
* Paediatric First Aid certified and Enhanced DBS checked
