We're looking for a Product Data Manager for a 12-month fixed term contract to lead the co-ordination side of our Product Data team - the people who make sure our product data is correct and compliant, our systems are clean, and above all, our data is trustworthy. You'll be the conduit between commercial teams, tech, and other departments, making sure everything runs smoothly from onboarded product data to existing product data and beyond.

What you'll actually be doing
* Leading a team of subject matter experts of Master Data Administrators to deliver high-quality product data.
* Managing the day-to-day admin function for BAU and project work - from supporting product onboarding to transformation initiatives.
* Acting as the go-to person for product data across UK and Ireland, ensuring compliance and accuracy, whilst continuously improving processes to enable scalability across further territories.
* Collaborating with other commercial teams and stakeholders and suppliers, alongside compliance and regulatory team to deliver clean, usable data.
* Supporting the Head of Master Data with strategic improvements and system enrichment.
* Owning the resource roadmap and planning to meet SLAs and project deadlines.
* Maintaining core product and financial hierarchies - making sure they're fit for purpose.
* Managing internal ticketing systems (c300 tickets/week) and resolving queries with speed and accuracy.
* Driving process improvements and influencing new ways of working across the team.
* Supporting large-scale transformation projects with centralised data cleansing and processing with a strategic and forward thinking mindset.
* Ensuring data compliance (including GDPR) and raising risks where needed.

Location: Our head office is in Nuneaton, and that's where you'll need to be at least 2 days a week. We're flexible beyond that - we ask for two days and the rest is up to you: home, coffee shop, wherever you get stuff done.

* Experience managing a data admin function, ideally in a commercial or retail environment.
* A strategic mindset - you see the bigger picture and plan for it.
* Strong leadership skills - you know how to support, challenge, coach and grow a team.
* Confidence working with systems (PIM/PLM, Excel, ticketing tools) and learning new ones.
* A knack for spotting inefficiencies and improving processes.
* Great stakeholder management - you're comfortable working across teams and levels and thrive on surprise and delight opportunities.
* A solid understanding of data compliance and governance.
* Experience balancing BAU and project work, with strong resource planning skills.
* A curious understanding of AI/ML and future proofing initiatives to remove need for humans to execute manual work.
