Job Title: Registered Manager – Children’s Residential (EBD)
Location: Tamworth, Staffordshire
Salary: £55,000 + Ofsted Registration Bonus
About the Role / Company
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed children’s home in Tamworth, supporting young people aged 6–16 with EBD and learning disabilities.
This is a rare chance to step into a home that is already well-prepared and ready to go. All policies and procedures are in place, and the Ofsted registration process is already underway, meaning you won’t be starting from scratch.
This opportunity is ideal for:
* An experienced Registered Manager looking for a fresh challenge
* A strong Deputy Manager ready to step up into their first RM role
Key Responsibilities
* Take full ownership of the home and lead it to success
* Drive high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance
* Lead, motivate, and develop a dedicated staff team
* Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and daily operations
* Manage the Ofsted registration process and inspections
* Build strong relationships with external professionals and stakeholders
* Create a positive, stable, and nurturing environment for young people
About You:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and making a genuine impact.
You Will
* Have experience within children’s residential care (EBD essential)
* Be a Registered Manager or a confident Deputy ready to step up
* Hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 in Leadership & Management
* Have a strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
* Be driven, resilient, and passionate about making a difference
* Be confident leading a team and taking full accountability for a home
