Highfields Primary School, Sandwell (SIPS),
Required from September 2025 (subject to satisfactory clearance checks), the Governing Body of Highfields Primary School wish to appoint an experienced Learning Support Practitioner Level 3.
Applications are invited from an enthusiastic, hard-working LSP Level 3 who has experience of supporting and working with children with a variety of special educational needs. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and hold the relevant qualification. Experience in Key Stage 1 is desirable.
The position will involve working with individual pupils and small groups, liaising with teachers, SENDCO, outside agencies and other support staff.
The successful candidate will:
* be passionate about children’s learning and have an inclusive approach to all aspects of learning and teaching;
* have experience in using MAPA, Makaton, PECS, Widget, Precision Teaching, TEACCH;

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Grade: Grade D, SCP 9-17 (£26,409-£30,060 p.a.) - Actual Salary £20,698 p.a. - £24,169 p.a.
