The school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About The Role
* Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and department needs.
* Deliver dynamic, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire students and support high levels of attainment.
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school and national expectations.
* Participate in departmental planning, moderation, and development sessions.
* Contribute to the wider school community, including after-school clubs, enrichment programmes, and whole-school events.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent internationally recognised teaching qualification.
* A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related subject.
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting, including curriculum planning and assessment.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A commitment to continued professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
