Welder / Fabricator Due to expansion and growth permanent positions have arisen forWelder/ Fabricators.. Please note that the main base for this role will be Aberdeen The Role : Fabrication and Welding of Handrails, Extension Sleeves, Deck Hatches, ROV Panels, Padeyes and Bottle Stands. (Valid coding -Advantageousbut not essential) Working hours : Dayshift 07:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday Overtime Nightshift 6:00 to 05:00 Monday to Thursday overtime Rate of Pay : Days£18.50 per hour - Nights £22.00 per hour Overtime (Dependant on experience) Primary Objectives Welding and fabrication in workshop and site. Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural welding/fabrication works and standards. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Time served welder/fabricator. Must be conscientious in approach to welding and fabrication to ensure high standards and quality.Working knowledge of oil and gas/marine and structural fabrication works and standards. Act with honesty, integrity and accountability Ability to work well in a team Qualifications and Experience Requirements An NC/HNC in welding/fabrication preferred but not essential at least 4 years experience in the above role. Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include: Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG) Gas shielded Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) Oxy-Acetylene cutting/welding Machine/workshop power tools and machinery.
