Contract
This is a 16 hour a week role on a FTC until 11th September 2026. We are recruiting an experienced Community & Engagement Worker to join a team providing high quality support to people using the Connect & Offload (CandO) Helpline. CandO is a Gloucestershire-based helpline offering practical and emotional support and signposting to those experiencing severe mental illness, their carers and relatives. The role is community based, working flexibly each week and by mutual agreement.

Responsibilities
* Provide excellent quality support to people using the Connect & Offload (CandO) Helpline.
* Work as part of the Gloucestershire Mental Health Helpline team; perform community-based activities, with flexible hours by mutual agreement.
* Signpost and link individuals to relevant services and support.
* Contribute to coproduction and engagement activities with service users and communities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience as a Community & Engagement Worker or in a similar role.
* Ability to work flexibly in a community setting and meet the needs of adults in Gloucestershire.
* Strong commitment to equity, inclusion and person-centered support.
