Hales Home Care is looking for compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants / Care Workers / Home Care Workers / Carers in Lowestoft to join our Reablement Team.This role involves providing person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping regain their health, well-being, and independence.
Areas covered: Lowestoft, Waveney and the surrounding areas.
*Drivers required due to rural locations in the community.*
THE CARE ASSISTANT ROLE
As a Hales Care Worker in Lowestoft, you'll play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and independence of vulnerable individuals within the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities include:
* Supporting individuals with their personal care routines including washing, dressing, and attending to toileting needs
* Ensuring service users have adequate grocery supplies
* Assisting individuals in taking their medication
* Preparing warm and nourishing meals
* Helping with light domestic tasks and other care needs
* Providing a valuable companionship lifeline to individuals

The Ideal Hales Care Assistant
* Passionate about helping others.
* A team player with good communication skills.
* Honest and committed to delivery high quality care and support
* Good communication skills – verbal and written to complete accurate records
* Previous experience in care, retail, hospitality or other service industry is welcome but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
