Front Office Porter – Summer Season

The award‑winning Fife Arms Hotel, located in the
picturesque village of Braemar, is seeking a Front Office Porter to join our
team for the summer season.
This is a guest‑facing role where you’ll play a
vital part in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable first
impressions. As a Porter, you’ll ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for,
and supported throughout their stay.
The Role
As a Front Office Porter, you will contribute to a
seamless guest experience from arrival to departure by:
* Delivering
a warm and professional welcome from check‑in to check‑out
* Assisting
guests with luggage and escorting them from the entrance to Reception
* Safely
transporting luggage to guest rooms and designated areas
* Responding
to guest requests promptly, efficiently, and with care
* Maintaining
a clean, tidy, and welcoming hotel entrance and car park
Who We’re Looking For
No experience? No problem. If you bring enthusiasm,
a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for hospitality, we’ll provide the
training.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
* Previous
experience in a similar or luxury hotel role (advantageous but not
essential)
* Excellent
organisational and time‑management skills
* Strong
communication skills and emotional intelligence
* A
proactive, flexible, and hands‑on approach
* Knowledge
of local attractions and amenities (or a willingness to learn)
* The Right
to Work in the UK (please note we cannot sponsor work visas for this role)
