Solution Architect – Azure / .NET – SaaS – Remote/Hybrid (UK) – Up to £85,000 p/a The Opportunity A fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies. Supporting a broad UK client base and a platform used by thousands of users, the business is scaling rapidly and investing in senior technical leadership to shape its next phase of growth. This is a strategic, hands-on architecture role where you’ll help define the future of a complex, cloud-native platform. You’ll provide technical leadership, influence product direction, and work across multiple agile development teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture across application, data, and infrastructure domains Act as Design Authority for scalable and secure solutions Translate business needs into actionable, well-structured technical strategies Document and communicate architectural decisions clearly across teams Guide platform evolution, integration patterns, and cloud infrastructure improvements Monitor emerging technologies and lead innovation efforts Mentor engineers and promote architectural best practices Align technical vision with product and business objectives Technical Profile Strong software engineering background using Microsoft stack Deep experience with .NET Core / .NET 6, C# Proven expertise in Azure services (App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, etc.) Skilled in designing microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems Proficient with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker), and orchestration Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL data architectures Front-end architecture experience (Angular or similar frameworks) Knowledge of domain-driven design (DDD) and scalable systems patterns Demonstrated success delivering cloud-native enterprise applications Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional environments What’s On Offer £80,000–£85,000 per annum Hybrid working (remote-first with optional office attendance) 25 days holiday bank holidays, with additional leave incentives Private healthcare, enhanced pension, life assurance Flexible benefits package including wellness schemes and tech discounts Supportive, collaborative team culture with clear progression opportunities Eligibility Requirements Candidates must be based in the UK and have full right to work in the UK This organisation does not offer visa sponsorship Candidates must be able to start with BPSS clearance as part of onboarding It is advantageous if you are eligible for SC clearance in the future Interested?
