About The Role
Are you a compassionate and engaging individual looking for a rewarding live‑in care role? Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking experienced live‑in carers to provide specialised spinal cord injury care for our clients in England, especially in and around London and Sussex. Our clients reside in their own homes or independent accommodations, all conveniently accessible by public transport. Some clients have pets (cats or dogs) for companionship. Confident drivers are preferred, as you may need to assist clients with transportation to gym sessions, local visits, or appointments.
Live-In Care Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and daily living activities.
* Provide support with spinal injury care and encourage independence.
* Observe and record the client's health status, and ensure their safety and well‑being.
* Arrange transportation for appointments, outings and travel when required.
Job Details
Rota: shifts are usually between 2‑4 weeks live‑in at a time. Alternatively, if eligible you can be part of our Standby rota, working conveniently from home.
Pay rate: £134.31 - 159.13 per day
Travel allowance: competitive travel allowance for each placement.
Food allowance: competitive food allowance per day, if applicable.
Training & Support
Paragon is a specialist provider of spinal cord injury and complex care. You will receive full training before you start, and where possible, time will be given to get familiar with the care routine. No previous experience with spinal care is needed.
