Counterbalance Yard Operative

The Role
The successful
Counterbalance Yard Operative
will be responsible for carrying out general yard duties, supporting site operations, and assisting the team in a hands-on capacity. Experience in a similar role is preferred, though training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Loading, unloading, and maintaining the yard area
Operating a counterbalance forklift (training provided if required)
Supporting team members with day-to-day operations
Using iPads, spreadsheets, and digital systems to complete tasks
Willingness to occasionally stay away from home for overnight work
Candidate Requirements
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Previous experience in a physically demanding, hands-on role
Prior work as a
Counterbalance Yard Operative
is desirable but not essential
Confident in using power tools and general equipment
Organised, dependable, and detail-focused
Strong communication and customer service skills
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
