Job Description
1. Draft, review, and negotiate real estate and development contracts and agreements.
2. Provide legal advice on real estate matters, including leasing, acquisitions, and land use.
3. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations within the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development and legal strategy.
5. Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party stakeholders.
6. Assist in resolving disputes and handling litigation related to real estate and development matters.
7. Stay updated on legal trends and changes affecting the Energy & Natural Resources sector.
8. Support the legal team with other duties as required.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Real Estate and Development Counsel should have:
9. Strong knowledge of real estate law and development processes in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
10. Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents.
11. Experience providing legal advice on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
13. Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing.
14. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address legal challenges effectively.
