The Role:
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised legal advice and support to clients on a range of sensitive personal matters. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique circumstances and goals, and deliver tailored solutions that protect their interests and provide peace of mind.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, and set up Family and Charitable Trusts
• Provide estate and succession planning advice, often involving high-value estates
• Manage executries and guide families through the winding-up process with sensitivity and care
• Advise on Guardianships and Adults with Incapacity matters
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients through a thoughtful and personalised approach
About You:
• At least 1 year's post-qualified experience in private client work
• Fully Qualified Scottish Solicitor
• Understanding of the sensitivity and responsibility involved in advising on personal legal matters
• Client-focused, personable, and committed to building trusted relationships
• Ability to work well in a small team environment and willingness to be hands-on
• Desire to build a long-term career within private client law
