Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Reception & Reservations Manager to lead our front office and reservations team at Da Vincis Hotel. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional to play a key role in ensuring a seamless guest experience from booking to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reception and reservations departments.
* Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver excellent guest service.
* Manage room reservations, ensuring accuracy and maximising occupancy and revenue.
* Handle guest queries and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution.
* Work closely with the sales, housekeeping, and F&B teams to ensure smooth coordination.
* Produce reports on occupancy, revenue, and departmental performance.
* Implement and maintain hotel policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements:
* Previous supervisory or managerial experience in hotel reception/reservations (minimum 2 years).
* Strong leadership and people management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in hotel booking/reservations systems (e.g., Protel/Opera, etc.).
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
