Learning Support Assistant at Warren Primary School
The role is a part-time, permanent position based at Warren Primary School, Gilbert Road, Chafford Hundred, Grays, Essex, RM16 6NB. Salary: £18,421.00 – £19,717.00 per annum (Actual), Thurrock Band A – Point 1-6. 32 hours and 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 38 weeks of the year (term time plus inset days). Warren Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring, committed and flexible Learning Support Assistant, who has a good understanding of child development and learning and will be willing to support children with both their physical and academic needs. You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child\'s needs. You will be resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills. Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

* Able to follow safeguarding procedures and prioritise students\' welfare.
* Educated to GCSE Level in Maths and English and will have obtained Grade 4-9 or equivalent.
* Resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills.
