KONE is currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Escalator Installation team in Keighley, with projects nationwide.
Key responsibilities:
* Ensure safe, high-quality, and timely installation of equipment following KONE installation methods.
* Report installation progress to the installation supervisor.
* Receive, check, and store materials properly.
* Maintain installation tooling safety and condition, ensure the security of delivered equipment, and uphold a safe working environment.
* Submit reports on timekeeping, quality feedback, and warranty claims for materials.
* Contribute to product improvement through feedback to the supply line.
* Manage on-site communication with customers regarding installation and logistics.
* Coordinate with builders to prevent installation interruptions.
* Assist in training or coaching trainees and helpers as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Excellent health and safety knowledge.
* Proficient in written and spoken English.
* Clean UK driving license (KONE provides a van).
