Operations Manager
25 hours per week / £20 per hour
We are looking for an Operations Manager to deliver an ambitious programme of community engagement and capital development over the next 3+ years. This role will lead our small, dedicated team to deliver a mix of trading and grant funded activity, centred around community wellbeing, arts and cultural provision.

Role Specification
The role of the Operations Manager is to oversee the day to day running of The Rockfield Centre, a community arts, culture, heritage and well being hub in central Oban. This includes:
Oversight of daily operational activities
Line management of centre's operational staff
Run weekly staff meeting with minutes forwarded to Trustees
Provide a monthly report to the Board of Trustees detailing centre activities, staffing and issues requiring attention.
Work with the Trustees to agree a forward work plan and align day to day activities with longer strategic goals.
Utilities management
Tenant management
Develop project concepts
Complete funding applications
Project delivery
Report on project status to bord and externals
Manage project budget and timing
Emergency back up for operations staff
Occasional events management
Awareness of financial systems and SAGE an advantage
The candidate will ideally hold a personal license and a PVG or be willing to obtain these.
This role requires flexibility, regular multi tasking and a willingness to be primarily office based whilst regularly called upon to complete hands on tasks. The work requires a "can do" attitude coupled with the ability to say no as required.
