Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in the classroom. We are seeking an individual who can support our teachers and motivate and encourage our pupils.

The Role:
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers, support staff, and the SEN team to assist students who exhibit behavioural challenges. Your role will involve providing 1:1 support or working with small groups, using behaviour management techniques to promote positive behaviour, emotional well-being, and engagement in learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development and implementation of personalised behaviour management plans.
Assist students in managing their behaviour through positive reinforcement and clear boundaries.
Build trusting relationships with students to help them feel supported and understood.
Provide 1:1 support or small group interventions for students with behavioural challenges.
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Encourage social interaction and help students develop their social and emotional skills.
Monitor and report on student progress, maintaining accurate records.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Preferably have experience working with children or young people, either in a school or similar setting.
Be patient, empathetic, and resilient with a passion for supporting vulnerable students.
Have excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Work effectively as part of a team but also independently when needed.
Be able to make a positive contribution to the ethos of our school

Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
