A growing leader in welding and fabrication, is seeking an experienced Workshop Foreman to join their busy shop floor team based in Colpy, Insch. This is a hands-on, pivotal role supporting multiple workshop teams and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
As a Workshop Foreman, you'll work closely with internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently and meeting quality standards. You'll also collaborate with the QA/QC team to maintain the high standards expected throughout production.
The ideal candidate will have practical workshop experience, a strong team focus, and a proactive approach to organising and driving operations forward in a fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
Salary: £38 - £50,000 depending on experience
Overtime: x1.5 basic rate
Hours per week: 7am - 15.30pm, 39 hours with an early finish on a Friday

Oversee day-to-day activities across welding and fabrication teams
Support team leads in keeping projects on schedule
Ensure all teams adhere to work instructions and technical drawings
Provide progress updates and escalate issues to the Operations Planner
Work with QA/QC on quality control checks and inspections
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workshop environmentSkills/Experience required:
Previous experience in a similar role
Proven experience in a welding, fabrication, or similar workshop environment
Detail-oriented and reliable with a strong focus on quality
Excellent communication skills for liaising with multiple teams and departments
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and instructions
Team player with a hands-on, proactive attitude
