Third Party Claims – Hiring Monitoring Advisor
Working Hours / Shift Patterns
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00. No weekend work required.
Start Date
Monday, 6th of July.
Training
The core training lasts the first 4 weeks, including hybrid training in the office and remote training from home. You will continue hybrid working onsite through week 8 to reinforce learning and build confidence. After this period you will need approval from a trainer or team leader before transitioning to hybrid working one day a week in the office and the rest remotely.
Hybrid Working
With hybrid working, you usually visit the office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. You may be required to attend training and events in person for their duration.
Salary
The starting salary is £27,550 plus benefits. Opportunities for salary progression to £28,800 can be achieved in as little as 12 months with the right focus on personal development.
Location
Leicester office, city centre, close walk to the train station.

Role Overview
This role supports Hastings Direct customers and other affected parties when an accident is not their fault. As a Hire Monitor Claims Handler you will provide vehicle repair and car hire solutions to non‑fault parties and deliver an excellent customer experience that demonstrates Hastings Direct’s market‑leading service. You will also learn basic legal liability and insurance indemnity outcomes, and how to value and negotiate customer losses to keep claims costs minimal.
